Madhesh CM to seek confidence vote on Friday

KATHMANDU: Madhesh Province Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav is set to seek a vote of confidence from the Provincial Assembly on Friday at 4:00 pm.

For this purpose, Chief Minister Yadav has formally requested the Provincial Assembly Secretariat to make the necessary arrangements.

In a letter sent to the Secretariat, he asked for the Assembly meeting to be convened at the specified date and time to proceed with the confidence vote.

According to the Chief Minister, the decision to seek a vote of confidence has been taken in view of the post–government formation political developments and the current status of support in the Provincial Assembly.
