KATHMANDU: Chair of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has issued an open challenge to anyone who can present evidence of corruption against him.
Speaking at a party event held at the central office in Aloknagar on Friday, Nepal emphasized his lifelong commitment to discipline, rules, and due process.
He stated that his personal principle is to “never deviate, never fear,” and reaffirmed that he has never supported unethical actions.
“I have a guiding principle: never deviate, never fear. If I haven’t done anything wrong, there is no reason to be afraid,” Nepal said. “If even a single person on this earth can prove that I was involved in corruption, I am ready to make any sacrifice.”
The former Prime Minister asserted that he has always respected procedure and never acted out of vengeance or animosity in his political journey.
“I’m someone who follows discipline, respects rules and procedures, promotes positive values, and avoids vindictive politics,” he added. “My approach has always been to include everyone and move forward collectively.”
During the event, Nepal also encouraged people to confront challenges in life with courage and determination.
