Liverpool beat Brighton

KATHMANDU: Liverpool booked their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup with a commanding 3–0 victory over Brighton at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah starred in the win, scoring once and providing an assist to lead the Reds to a comfortable victory.

Curtis Jones opened the scoring in the 42nd minute, giving Liverpool the lead before halftime.

Dominik Szoboszlai doubled the advantage in the 56th minute after converting a well-timed pass from Salah.

Salah then sealed the result from the penalty spot to make it 3–0.

Brighton created a few chances during the match but failed to find the back of the net, as Liverpool’s defense remained solid throughout.
