Lingden urges job creation in Nepal to prevent youth migration
Lingden highlighted the importance of utilizing Nepal’s domestic water resources to develop industries and create employment opportunities within the country.
KATHMANDU: Rajendra Lingden, Chair of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), emphasized that no young Nepali should have to go abroad for a monthly salary of Rs 50,000.
He made the remarks on Sunday during a program organized by the RPP Women’s Organization’s Training Department.
Lingden highlighted the importance of utilizing Nepal’s domestic water resources to develop industries and create employment opportunities within the country.
Speaking about the party’s vision, he said that RPP is committed to making Nepal one of the best countries in the world.
However, he noted that this mission would only be possible when women are empowered, strong, and proactive.
Lingden urged women to become self-reliant and entrepreneurial.
He also encouraged everyone in politics to engage in some form of trade or business, no matter how small.
Reflecting on his personal journey, he recalled running a microbus even after serving as the chairman of the District Development Committee, stressing that one should never feel ashamed to work.
