KATHMANDY: The Ministry of Home Affairs has given the responsibility of Head of Administration Division to Joint Secretary Rudra Prasad Pandit.
Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has taken a ministerial decision and assigned the responsibility of the division’s vacant head to joint secretary Pandit, who previously worked in the ministry.
Pandit, the Chief District Officer of Lalitpur, was pulled to the Ministry of Home Affairs following the deaths of two youths in Balkumari, which sparked a dispute over the Korean language test.
The division became vacant after joint secretary Kedarnath Sharma, who had previously overseen the head of the administration division, was promoted to the permanent position of chief secretary of the Koshi State government.
