Unauthorized structures along Dhobi Khola demolished by KMC bulldozers (photos)

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) on Wednesday demolished illegal physical structures built in KMC-10 by encroaching upon the riverbanks of Dhobi Khola in Anamnagar area, using bulldozers.

As the structure of the houses was against the map, the KMC used dozer to demolish the illegal structure.

Recently, the KMC has launched a campaign to eliminate houses and constructions that are encroaching on public spaces such as riverbanks, pathways, and public spaces within the city.

The KMC had time and again issued a notice to vacate public land in the area.
