KATHMANDU: Kathmandu District Administration Office has announced that it is making maximum efforts to restore its services to normal operation, while some essential services have been arranged through alternative mechanisms.
According to Assistant Chief District Officer and spokesperson, Mukti Ram Rijal, service seekers who had completed the passport photo process before Bhadra 6 will be able to collect their passports starting from Bhadra 31.
Similarly, urgent national identity card services will be available from the service unit at Narayanhiti Durbar, while emergency passport-related services can be accessed directly at the Department of Passports.
For other services, the office stated that necessary infrastructure, systems, and equipment are being managed on a priority basis.
The administration has also committed to providing regular updates through official notices for the convenience of the public.
