KATHMANDU: The play “Kagatali” is currently being performed at Kaushi Theatre in Teku.

The show began on Shrawan 7 and has attracted considerable attention.

Set against the backdrop of the 2050 BS) “Kagatali” is a social psychological drama that unravels mysterious events within a high-class family.

The play explores, through a dramatic lens, the unforeseen consequences that can arise when women are denied freedom and equal rights.

Filled with humor and unexpected twists, the performance takes the audience on an emotional journey with its ups and downs, keeping viewers engaged throughout.

The cast includes Basna Timilsina, Rupesh Lama, Savin Bhattarai, Sujan Paudel, Jeevan Dahal, Amrit Kaucha, Sushma Nirola, Dipendra Shahi, Yubina Bhattarai, and Aakriti Budhathoki, all delivering outstanding performances.

“Kagatali” is the second production by Theatre Nepal.

The play is written and directed by Naveen Chand Aryal, with Savin Bhattarai and Bishnu Rai serving as co-directors.

Performances are held daily at 5:15 PM, with an additional show on Saturdays at 1:00 PM.
