Janakpur Bolts to honor mothers with special jerseys in NPL

KATHMANDU: In the ongoing second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) in the capital, Janakpur Bolts will wear ‘Mother Special Jerseys’ in their upcoming match against Pokhara Avengers on Thursday.

At a press conference today, team manager Niroj Khatriwada announced that all players will feature their mothers’ names on the jerseys to honor them.

He said, “This decision is made to pay tribute to mothers.”

After the match, the jerseys will be auctioned, and the proceeds will be donated to a mothers’ welfare group.

Having lost their first two matches, the defending champions Janakpur Bolts will be seeking their first victory of the tournament on Thursday.
