HoR meeting today to discuss key bills & finance proposal
The meeting will also discuss the ‘National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081’.
KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives is set to convene at 11:00 am at Singha Durbar today, with several key bills scheduled for discussion and endorsement.
On behalf of Prime Minister, Home Minister and Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Balen Shah, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam will table proposals to deliberate on the ‘House of Representatives Member Election (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’ and the ‘Voter List (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’.
The meeting will also discuss the ‘National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081’.
Likewise, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to present a proposal for clause-wise deliberation on the ‘Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2082’.
Amendments registered to the bill will be presented for decision, while the Finance Minister will also seek endorsement of the ‘Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2082’ from the House.
