HoR meeting scheduled for 11 AM today

KATHMANDU: The Secretariat of the Parliament has announced that the House of Representatives will convene today at 11 AM.

Among the items on the agenda, the Banking Offenses and Punishments (Second Amendment) Bill, 2080 will be tabled along with a message received from the National Assembly. Additionally, the Chairperson of the Infrastructure Development Committee, Deepak Bahadur Singh, will present the report of the Water Resources Bill Committee for the year 2081.
Under the management section, the Minister for Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, Nawal Kishore Sah, will seek permission to present the Human Trafficking and Transportation (Control) (First Amendment) Bill, 2081.
Furthermore, the Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya, will propose the discussion of the Nepal Law Professionals Council (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081, which has originated from the National Assembly.
In today’s meeting, the Minister for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, Damodar Bhattarai, will propose that the Export-Import (Regulation) Bill be sent for detailed discussion to the relevant committee.
Lastly, the Prime Minister, KP Sharma Oli, will propose a discussion on the Constitutional Council (Functions, Duties, Powers, and Procedures) (First Amendment) Bill, 2079, along with the report from the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee.
The meeting promises to address several significant legislative matters for the development and governance of the nation.
