Harka Sampang protests in Parliament demanding govt accountability (video)

KATHMANDU: Opposition lawmakers from the Shram Sanskriti Party staged a protest in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, disrupting proceedings by displaying placards during the session.

As soon as the meeting commenced, party chair Harka Sampang along with other MPs stood up from their seats and raised placards with various demands, drawing the attention of the House.

The lawmakers continued their demonstration even as parliamentary business was underway, maintaining their protest stance inside the chamber.

This marks the second consecutive day that the Shram Sanskriti Party has protested in Parliament, signaling sustained dissatisfaction with ongoing parliamentary proceedings and government responses.
