Government to launch water transportation

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel disclosed the government’s initiative to introduce water transport during the presentation of the government’s policy and program at Tuesday’s joint session of the Federal Parliament.

He unveiled plans for water transportation, including the operation of terminals at Sunkosi and Narayani Madina.

Furthermore, he announced preparations for water transport along two major rivers.

President Paudel also highlighted the adoption of digital technology for the construction of inclusive and easily accessible public transportation infrastructure.
