Gold, silver prices surge today as well

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices have continued to rise in the local market.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association, the price of gold increased by Rs 1,100 per tola today, while silver went up by Rs 50 per tola.

As a result, the price of Chhapawal gold now stands at Rs 306,600 per tola, and silver is priced at Rs 5,290 per tola.

On Tuesday, gold was sold at Rs 305,500 per tola and silver at Rs 5,240 per tola.

Last Monday, gold traded at Rs 304,600 per tola, with silver at Rs 5,250 per tola.

Internationally, gold is being traded at USD 5,060 per ounce, while silver is priced at USD 82 per ounce.
