Gold & silver prices hold steady today

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices remained stable in the local market today, continuing the trend observed since last Friday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of standard gold bars (chaapawal) stands at Rs 294,000 per tola, while silver is valued at Rs 4,830 per tola.

Notably, silver had increased by Rs 50 per tola last Friday compared to the previous day, but prices have held steady since then.

On the international front, gold is trading at USD 4,676 per ounce, with silver priced at USD 73 per ounce.
