Gold & silver prices drop today

On Thursday, gold was priced at Rs 339,300 per tola and silver at Rs 7,505.

KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver fell in Nepal’s local market today compared to Thursday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of one tola of standard gold stood at Rs 318,800, while silver was priced at Rs 7,065 per tola.

On Thursday, gold was priced at Rs 339,300 per tola and silver at Rs 7,505.

On Wednesday, gold traded at Rs 318,800 and silver at Rs 7,300 per tola, while the previous Tuesday, gold was Rs 309,300 and silver Rs 6,870 per tola.

Meanwhile, international markets report that an ounce of gold is currently trading at USD 5,537 and silver at USD 117.
