Gold & silver prices dip

KATHMANDU: Today, the local market witnessed a decline in gold and silver prices.

The price of gold fell by Rs 4,300 per tola, while silver dropped by Rs 150 per tola.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of Chhapawal gold today stood at Rs 294,700 per tola, while an equivalent quantity of silver was priced at Rs 4,875.

On Wednesday, gold had traded at Rs 299,000 per tola and silver at Rs 5,025 per tola.

Last Tuesday, gold was priced at Rs 291,800 per tola, with silver at Rs 4,820 per tola.

Internationally, one ounce of gold is currently trading at USD 4,713, and silver at USD 73 per ounce.
