Gold & silver prices decline today

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices have continued their downward trend in the local market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold has decreased by Rs 1,800 per tola, while silver has dropped by Rs 110 per tola.

With the latest adjustment, the price of Chhapawal gold has been fixed at Rs 298,700 per tola. Similarly, silver is being traded at Rs 5,020 per tola.

On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 305,000 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 5,130 per tola. On Tuesday, gold was priced at Rs 301,300 per tola, and silver at Rs 5,160 per tola.

In the international market, gold is currently trading at USD 4,705 per ounce, while silver is priced at USD 78 per ounce, according to international media reports.
