Gold & silver prices decline
With this decline, gold is being traded at Rs 296,500 per tola today.
KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices have continued to fall in the local market today, with both precious metals witnessing a notable drop.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of Chhapawal gold has decreased by Rs 2,200 per tola.
With this decline, gold is being traded at Rs 296,500 per tola today.
Similarly, silver has dropped by Rs 75 per tola, with its price fixed at Rs 4,945 per tola.
On Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 298,700 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 5,020 per tola.
Just a day earlier, on Wednesday, gold was priced at Rs 305,000 per tola and silver at Rs 5,130 per tola, indicating a consistent downward trend over the week.
In the international market, gold is currently trading at around USD 4,705 per ounce, while silver is priced at USD 76 per ounce, according to international media reports.
