Gold, silver hit record highs in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices in the Nepali market surged to record levels on Wednesday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs 900 to reach Rs 268,100, up from Rs 267,200 on Tuesday.

Silver also saw a significant increase, climbing from Rs 4,255 per tola on Tuesday to Rs 4,420 on Wednesday.
