Gold prices dip, silver gains

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the Nepali market fell slightly on Wednesday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of one tola of minted gold dropped by Rs 400, trading at Rs 267,700.

On Tuesday, the same quantity was sold at Rs 268,100.

Meanwhile, silver prices rose.

The rate of one tola of silver increased from Rs 4,880 on Tuesday to Rs 4,935 on Wednesday, the association reported.
