Gold price surges in Nepal, silver slightly dips

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market rose sharply on Sunday. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the rate of Chhapawal gold increased by Rs 2,300 per tola, reaching Rs 305,800.

On the previous trading day, Friday, gold was priced at Rs 303,500 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver experienced a slight decline.

The price of silver, which was Rs 5,000 per tola on Friday, fell to Rs 4,985 per tola on Sunday, the association reported.
