Gold price surges by Rs 3,400 per tola

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the Nepali market witnessed a sharp rise on Friday, increasing by Rs 3,400 per tola after a previous day’s decline.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs 296,100 per tola today.

On Thursday, it was priced at Rs 292,700 per tola, marking a significant rebound in the market.

Silver prices have also climbed. The price of silver increased by Rs 135 per tola, reaching Rs 4,945 per tola on Friday, up from Rs 4,810 per tola on Thursday.

In the international market, gold is being traded at around $4,613 per ounce today, reflecting continued volatility in global precious metal prices.
