Gold price dips slightly, silver rises

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the Nepali market edged down slightly on Monday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations.

The price of Chhapawal gold fell by Rs 600 per tola, trading at Rs 270,000.

On Sunday, fine gold had been traded at Rs 270,600 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver prices moved upward.

Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,835 per tola on Sunday, increased to Rs 4,895 per tola on Monday, the federation said.
