Gold price dips slightly, silver edges higher today

KATHMANDU: The price of gold witnessed a slight decline in the domestic market on Thursday, while silver recorded a modest increase, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The price of Chhapawal gold dropped by Rs 100 per tola, settling at Rs 306,500 on Thursday.

On the previous trading day, Wednesday, the same was traded at Rs 306,600 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver prices moved upward. Silver, which was traded at Rs 5,290 per tola on Wednesday, increased by Rs 50 to reach Rs 5,340 per tola on Thursday, the Federation stated.
