Gold hits record high at Rs 270,600 per tola in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in Nepal reached a historic peak on Sunday, breaking the previous record set on Friday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, gold now trades at Rs 270,600 per tola, an increase of Rs 1,300 from Friday’s record of Rs 269,300.

Silver prices also saw a significant rise, climbing Rs 270 in a single day to reach Rs 4,835 per tola, up from Rs 4,565 on Friday, marking the highest level recorded so far.

The consecutive surge in precious metal prices highlights growing market momentum and strong demand.
