Fire erupts at Hotel Woodland on Durbar Marg

KATHMANDU: A fire broke out on the upper floor of Hotel Woodland, located on Durbar Marg in Kathmandu, authorities confirmed.

The blaze reportedly started in the restaurant area of the hotel.

According to DSP Kaushal Budhathoki of Kathmandu Police, fire trucks from Kathmandu and Lalitpur metropolitan cities, along with the Nepal Police, were deployed to control the fire.

Personnel from the Nepal Police and Armed Police Force are also on the scene assisting with firefighting efforts.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and further details are awaited.
