Fire at Khwopring School guts property worth around Rs 5 million

BHAKTAPUR: Property worth around five million rupees was destroyed when Khwopring English Secondary School located at Bhaktapur Municipality caught fire.

Two floors of the school were completely destroyed as well as five classes turned into ashes due to fire, said School Principal Binod Prajapati.

The incident might have occurred due to short circuit.

Activities are underway to remove the damaged property not to let obstruct the teaching learning activities for many days, according to school administration.
