KATHMANDU: The play ‘Far Away’ has begun its staging at Mandala Theatre in Thapagaun from Tuesday, Shrawan 20.

Written by renowned British playwright Caryl Churchill, ‘Far Away’ starts with a calm mystery and gradually unfolds into a tense and surreal world—where even animals and rivers appear to be entangled in a global war.

The play delivers a deep and thought-provoking message within a short runtime.

The production explores how violence becomes normalized within state mechanisms, making it both timely and relevant.

Directed by Rajkumar Pudasaini and presented by One World Theatre, the play is performed in English. It features compelling performances by Rishu Raut, Ruzha Raut, and Anish Bimali.

‘Far Away’ will be staged every evening at 5:30 PM at Mandala Theatre until Shrawan 25.
