Ex-King to participate in special ceremony in Lalitpur

KATHMANDU: Former King Gyanendra Shah is set to participate in a special ceremony in Lalitpur.

He plans to attend on May 20.

According to his office, former King Shah has been invited by Lalitpur residents to partake in a special event.

This marks Shah’s return to formal engagements within the capital after a considerable hiatus.

Previously, his public appearances were predominantly outside the valley.
