Election materials begin arriving at commission
Once collected, these materials will be dispatched to all 77 districts along with other election supplies.
KATHMANDU: Printing of essential materials for the upcoming House of Representatives election on March 5 has begun, with the first batches now arriving at the Election Commission.
According to Assistant Spokesperson Kul Bahadur GC, voter manuals, vote-counting guidelines, election-related acts, rules, and other necessary directives have been printed at the Nepal Pragya Pratisthan press in Kamaladi and are being delivered to the Commission.
Once collected, these materials will be dispatched to all 77 districts along with other election supplies.
GC said that the first phase saw 5,000 printed items delivered, with the remaining materials to follow in stages before being sent to districts.
Meanwhile, ballots are being printed separately at Janak Shiksha Samagri Kendra Limited.
