Congress to disrupt National Assembly as well

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress parliamentary party leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula has announced a blockade in the National Assembly as well.

He stated that they will obstruct both the House proceedings and any meetings regarding policies and programs, until the party’s decision to impose a blockade is revoked.

Since Tuesday, the Congress has been obstructing the National Assembly as well.

In the cooperative case, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane’s involvement was cited, prompting the Congress to demand the formation of a parliamentary probe committee.
