Colorful wildflowers meadow in Rukum draws tourists (photos)

KATHMANDU: Chaurikharka, a scenic highland located at around 4,000 meters above sea level in Bhume Rural Municipality-1 of Eastern Rukum, is currently blanketed with vibrant wildflowers.

The lush green hills have become a picturesque sight, attracting the interest of domestic tourists.

Situated about a three-hour walk from Pathihalne on the Mid-Hill Highway near the Rukum East–Baglung border, Chaurikharka is emerging as a popular destination for nature lovers and trekkers.
