CM Baniya pledges justice, peace & homes for poor

KATHMANDU: Bagmati Province Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya has pledged to work in a responsible, transparent, and accountable manner to ensure that people experience justice, peace, and development.
Speaking at a welcome and felicitation program organized by the Nepali Congress Bagmati Province Committee in Hetauda today, CM Baniya emphasized that politics is not a business of profit and loss, but a service and duty toward the people.
He reaffirmed his commitment to serve with honesty, advocating truth, justice, and fairness, especially for the poor and marginalized.
Sharing his deep understanding of the pain and struggles faced by underprivileged communities, CM Baniya announced that he will use his salary and allowances as Chief Minister to build houses for poor and needy families in his constituency.
The program also included a warm welcome and felicitation for Minister without Portfolio Shivraj Adhikari and Minister for Drinking Water, Energy, and Irrigation Krishnakumar Tamang, both representing the Nepali Congress.
