The initiative aimed to provide accurate information on cancer, dispel common myths, and raise awareness about the importance of early screening, prevention, and timely medical consultation.
Conducted in collaboration with Medanta – The Medicity Hospital, Gurugram, India, the programs were designed to ensure credibility and expert-led engagement.
As part of the initiative, a dedicated session titled “What Women Need to Know and Practice About Breast Cancer” was organized for all female employees. The session was facilitated by Dr. Kanchan Kaur, Senior Director – Breast Cancer, Medanta Hospital. Held on Jan 27 (Tuesday), the program witnessed active participation from 513 female employees, making it highly interactive and impactful.
Similarly, on Jan 28 (Wednesday), a separate session titled “Prostate Cancer: Myths and Facts” was conducted for male employees aged 30 years and above. The session was led by Dr. Puneet Ahluwalia, Senior Director, Medanta Hospital, with 509 employees actively taking part.
Citizens Bank believes that both webinars will significantly enhance health awareness among employees and contribute to their long-term health security.
