KATHMANDU: CG Motors has officially launched the highly advanced King Long 16-seater electric van in Nepal, featuring cutting-edge technology and strong performance.

The new model is expected to set a new benchmark in the country’s commercial electric vehicle (EV) segment.

The standout feature of the vehicle is its 75.41 kWh Blade Battery, the first of its kind in this segment.

This battery is designed to deliver enhanced safety, longer lifespan, and superior driving range, making daily operations more reliable and efficient.

Powering the van is a 120 kW high-performance electric motor, ensuring strong and consistent performance across various road conditions.

The vehicle also offers a spacious and comfortable interior, designed to improve passenger comfort and overall travel experience.

King Long, established in 1988 in Xiamen, China, is a globally recognized manufacturer of buses, coaches, and commercial vehicles.

With over three decades of experience, the company has strengthened its presence in international markets through reliable and innovative transport solutions.

According to CG Motors, the new electric van has been introduced in response to Nepal’s growing demand for eco-friendly, safe, high-capacity, and cost-effective transportation solutions.

The company also highlighted its strong footprint in Nepal’s commercial vehicle market, with over 5,000 units sold, along with 260+ charging stations, 20+ service stations, and a network of 14 dealers across the country, ensuring wide-ranging customer support and service accessibility.

The new King Long 16-seater electric van is priced at a starting rate of Rs. 7,250,000, making it an attractive option for transport operators and fleet businesses seeking efficient and sustainable mobility solutions.
