‘Cetaamol’ unveils new song ‘Rato Pachhyauri’

KATHMANDU: The upcoming film Cetaamol, set to release this Friday (Aug 8), has unveiled a new song titled “Rato Pachhyauri.”

Sung by Anjana Khatriwada and Ravi Oad, the song captures the essence of Nepali folk culture. Music composer Babul Giri has not only written the lyrics but also arranged and composed the song.
The team believes the track strongly reflects the film’s emotional narrative and adds depth to its storytelling.
Earlier, the trailer of Cetaamol received an overwhelmingly positive response from viewers. It portrays pressing social issues such as poverty, unemployment, family disputes, and governmental apathy through a humorous and satirical lens—an approach that seems to have struck a chord with audiences.
Likewise, the film’s posters and previously released promotional materials have also managed to capture significant attention.
Directed by Raj Bahadur Sane, Cetaamol stars Saugat Malla, Benisha Hamal, Shree Krishna Niraula, Januka Bishwakarma, Lokendra Lekhak, Bhugol Karki, Hiuwala Gautam, Sushil Pokharel, Dinesh Regmi, RR Khadka, Gyanu Malla, Pawan Bhattarai, Kajal Bhujel, and child actors Karan Nepali and Aradhya Rajyalaxmi DC.
Notably, both Shree Krishna and Januka make their acting debut through this film.
Jointly produced by Tulsi Devi Films in collaboration with Juntara Films, the story is co-written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and director Sane.
The film is presented by Simos Sunuwar, with Bhugol Kumar Karki and Bikash Raj Joshi as producers. Apsara Nepali, Ajay Malla, and Kumar KC serve as executive producers, while Gangaram Shrestha is the associate producer.
The film’s technical team includes Kaviraj Gahatraj (choreography), Bande Prasad (editor), Rajendra Moktan (DI/color), Mukesh Shah (sound design), Dev Maharjan and Shankar Maharjan (action directors), and Rakesh Dahal (poster design). Divya Subedi has handled the cinematography, with Bikash Tamang and Dhan Bahadur Rai as production managers.
