KATHMANDU: A passenger bus met with an accident at Trishule in Dhankuta district on Friday.
The bus, bearing registration number Ko 1 Kha 5105, was traveling from Tehrathum to Damak when it veered off the road and fell down the hillside.
According to Suman Poudel, who was present at the accident site, the bus plunged off the roadway for reasons yet to be confirmed.
Dhankuta Superintendent of Police Sarat Kumar Thapa Chhetri said that a police team has been dispatched to the scene for the rescue of the injured.
Details regarding casualties and the exact cause of the accident are still awaited.
