KATHMANDU: Biratnagar Kings posted a challenging total of 135/7 in 20 overs against defending champions Janakpur Bolts in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2025, setting a target of 136 runs for the Bolts.
After winning the toss, Janakpur opted to field first, giving Biratnagar the chance to bat.
The innings saw significant contributions from Shubham Ranjan, an Indian-origin American player, who scored 37 runs off 29 balls, including two fours and two sixes, before being run out.
Basir Ahmad also impressed with 36 runs from 35 balls, hitting three sixes.
