KATHMANDU: Barcelona secured a spectacular 3-1 victory over Atletico Madrid in a La Liga clash on Wednesday night, climbing to the top of the league table.

Atletico took an early lead in the 19th minute through Alex Baena, but Barcelona quickly responded as Raphinha leveled the score in the 26th minute.

The first half ended 1-1.

In the second half, Barcelona dominated, with Dami Olmo putting them ahead in the 65th minute.

Ferran Torres sealed the win with a goal during stoppage time, completing a memorable comeback.
