A total of 10 million sample ballots have already been delivered to various locations by the Election Commission.
KATHMANDU: Ballot printing for the upcoming House of Representatives election on March 5 has entered its final phase, with Janak Shikshya Samagri Kendra Ltd. handling the task.
Managing Director Yadunath Paudel confirmed that 12–15 million ballots are printed daily, and the process is expected to conclude by Sunday. “So far, 173 million out of 203 million ballots have been printed. Printing for Bagmati Province has started after completing six provinces. The remaining 30 million ballots will be ready by Sunday,” he said.
Paudel noted that larger ballots are required in constituencies with many candidates, while smaller ballots are used in districts with fewer candidates, causing slight delays in some areas. Ballots for completed districts are being dispatched through the Nepal Army.
