Ashok Kumar Agrawal appointed Chairman of NIC Asia Bank

KATHMANDU: Ashok Kumar Agrawal, a seasoned professional with long-standing experience in Nepal’s banking and financial sector, has been appointed as the Chairman of NIC Asia Bank.
The decision was made by the bank’s Board of Directors during its 744th meeting held on Poush 9, with the appointment taking effect from today.
Newly appointed Chairman Agrawal took the oath of office and secrecy today before Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Prof. Dr. Bishwanath Paudel.
Agrawal brings with him extensive experience in banking, finance, insurance, and the corporate sector.
He is widely recognized for his successful leadership and significant contributions to Nepal’s economic development.
According to the bank, his strong leadership skills, clear strategic vision, and commitment to long-term planning are expected to drive the institution toward major achievements.
