KATHMANDU: Arsenal handed Bayern Munich their first defeat of the season across all competitions with a commanding 3–1 victory, continuing their impressive Champions League group-stage campaign and securing a spot in the knockout round.

Arsenal struck first in the 22nd minute when Jurrien Timber headed in from a Bukayo Saka corner.

Bayern equalised 10 minutes later as Serge Gnabry controlled a long pass from Joshua Kimmich and set up 17-year-old Lenart Karl for the finish.

The Gunners regained control in the 79th minute through Noni Madueke’s close-range strike, before Gabriel Martinelli sealed the win in the 77th minute by dribbling past goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and slotting into an empty net.

With the win, Arsenal climbed to 15 points, securing the top spot in their group.

Kylian Mbappé produced a sensational performance, scoring four goals to lead Real Madrid to a thrilling 4–3 win over Olympiacos in Greece—Real’s first victory after three matches.

Olympiacos opened the scoring in the 8th minute through a powerful strike from Chiquinho, but Mbappé responded ruthlessly, completing a hat-trick within seven minutes.
He scored in the 22nd minute from a Vinícius pass, headed his second in the 24th minute from an Arda Güler cross, and completed his hat-trick in the 29th minute after beating the offside trap on a pass from Eduardo Camavinga.

Substitute Mehdi Taremi pulled one back for Olympiacos in the 52nd minute, but Mbappé netted his fourth in the 59th, restoring Real’s control.
The hosts reignited hope in the 81st minute with a header from Ayoub El Kaabi, but Real held on.

The win lifted Real to fifth place, while Olympiacos sit 33rd.
