KATHMANDU: In the history of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), only three centuries have been recorded so far, with the latest coming from Pokhara Avengers’ Adam Rosssington.
Rosington scored an unbeaten 108 off 58 balls against Karnali Yaks in the ongoing second edition of the NPL in the capital.
With this feat, he became the second player this season to hit a century.
Earlier, Mark Watt of Karnali Yaks had scored a century on Mangsir 6 against Lumbini Lions, hitting 114 not out off 44 balls, including 12 sixes and 4 fours.
In the first edition of the NPL last year, Pokhara’s Andres Gous was the only centurion, scoring 104 against Lumbini Lions.
Interestingly, all three NPL centuries so far have been made by foreign players: Adam Rosington from England, Mark Watt from Scotland, and Andres Gous from the USA.
