ACC Men’s U-19 Premier Cup: UAE set 148-run target for Nepal

KATHMANDU: The UAE posted a target of 148 runs for Nepal in the final of the ACC Men’s U-19 Premier Cup 2025 on Monday after being put in to bat first.

Nepal’s Dayananda Mandal delivered a devastating bowling spell that restricted the hosts from reaching a big total.

Winning the toss in Ajman, Nepal invited the UAE to bat, bowling them out for 147 in 45.5 overs.

For the UAE, Ahmad Khudadad top-scored with a resilient 71 off 126 balls, hitting six fours.

Noorullah Ayubi contributed 26 runs.

Nepal’s Mandal was the standout performer, claiming an impressive 6 wickets for just 17 runs.

Both Nepal and the UAE have already secured qualification for the U-19 Asia Cup after reaching the tournament final.
