AC Milan edge Pisa 2–1 in Serie A thriller

KATHMANDU: AC Milan defeated Pisa 2–1 in Italy Serie A on Friday.

Despite being reduced to ten men, Milan found a late winner through Luka Modric, who scored the decisive goal in the 85th minute.

Earlier, Milan had taken the lead with a goal from Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

However, Filippo Loiola equalised for Pisa, putting both teams on course to share the points before Modric’s late strike sealed the win.

With this victory, Milan have piled pressure on league leaders Inter Milan.

Inter remain top of the table with 58 points, while Milan sit second, five points behind.
