KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Ashika Tamang has urged the government to strengthen security along the Nepal–India border, suggesting that a wall or barbed wire fence be constructed if agreed upon by both countries.
Speaking in the House of Representatives, she called for a thorough investigation into border-related issues and strong diplomatic initiatives.
She also stressed the sensitivity of disputed areas including Susta, Kalapani, Lipulekh, and Limpiyadhura, urging the government to take the matter seriously.
