ACC U-19 Premier Cup final: Nepal to bowl first against UAE after winning toss

KATHMANDU: Nepal and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are clashing in the final of the ACC U-19 Premier Cup at the Karwan Ground in Ajman. Nepal won the toss and chose to field first.

Nepal reached the final by defeating Malaysia by nine wickets, while UAE secured their spot with an eight-wicket win over Oman.

Both finalists have already qualified for the Asia Cup, as the tournament grants direct Asia Cup qualification to the two teams reaching the final.

The third-place playoff between the losing semifinalists will be held on Monday, with the winner also earning a place in the Asia Cup. Malaysia and Oman will compete for third place.

A total of 14 teams participated in this edition of the tournament.
