NADA & ENSSURE conduct OSH training for auto industry (photos)
The training aimed to raise awareness and improve practices related to safety, health, and welfare in automobile workshops.

KATHMANDU: The NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, in collaboration with the Enhanced Skills for Sustainable and Rewarding Employment (ENSSURE) project, successfully conducted a two-day training program on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) on May 7 & 8 in Lalitpur.
The training aimed to raise awareness and improve practices related to safety, health, and welfare in automobile workshops.
Participants from diverse technical backgrounds were trained on workplace risk management, strategies for accident prevention, and fostering a safety culture within the automobile industry.
A total of 20 participants from 12 NADA member companies took part in the training, which was facilitated by Nepal’s OSH expert, Mr. Dinesh Prasad Sah.
This marked NADA’s first-ever OSH-focused training program in collaboration with the ENSSURE project.
For the past two years, NADA has been working with ENSSURE to conduct various training sessions related to the automobile sector as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The closing ceremony featured certificate distribution by Mr. Milan Babu Malla, Treasurer of NADA, and Mr. Sanjiv Kumar Rai, Deputy Team Leader of the ENSSURE project.
The event was also attended by Mr. Pradeepman Pradhan, a central executive committee member of NADA, and Mr. Lok Raj Joshi, Private Sector Engagement Specialist at ENSSURE.
The training program was coordinated and managed by NADA’s Training Coordinator, Ms. Arju Shrestha.
