776 new industries registered in Jhapa

JHAPA: A total of 776 new cottage and small industries have been registered in Jhapa district during the first nine months of the current fiscal year, according to the Cottage and Small Industries Office, Jhapa.

Information Officer of the Office, Janaki Bhattarai, shared that 431 industries and 345 business firms were registered in the district during this period.

Likewise, altogether 1,168 industries and 1,273 firms were renewed so far in the current fiscal year 2081/82 BS.

Bhattarai stated that the number of new firms and industries has increased in the recent years in Jhapa.

According to the Office, it collected Rs 22.18 million in revenue during the first nine months of the current fiscal year.
